SparWolle Checkerboard Hat Crochet Pattern

This is a pattern for a crochet hat worked in a checkerboard or basketweave pattern.

Required knowledge:

• Magic ring
• Double crochet (US term) / Treble crochet (UK term)
• Front post double crochet (US term) / Front post treble crochet (UK term)
• Back post double crochet (US term) / Back post treble crochet (UK term)
• Chain stitches
• Slip stitches

The pattern is provided in text form and as a crochet chart.

Useful information:

For a head circumference of 51-55 cm, we recommend approx. 260 meters of yarn (SparWolle Bobbel 5-ply).
For a head circumference of approx. 56-60 cm, we recommend approx. 290 meters of yarn (SparWolle Bobbel 5-ply).

Crochet hook size 4 mm.
